The big problem with this box is that it blocks opening of the keyboard! I thought that keyboard was a big feature of the system. Without the keyboard using the system with the serial cable to be a console terminal for a router, terminal server, or large Unix system is almost impossible.
If you plan to try and use a terminal emulator via a serial port on the Zaurus wait until a third party vendor rescues us from Sharp's mistake. Don't waste your money on the Sharp Serial cable!
Some insiders at Sharp say that a better cable is comming. I say wait for it or hope a third party brings one to market soon.
